The New York, Susquehanna and Western Railway , also referred to as the Susie-Q or the Susquehanna, and formerly the New York, Susquehanna and Western Railroad, is an American Railroad classes#Class II, Class II Rail freight transport, freight railway operating over of trackage in the states of New Jersey, New York (state), New York, and Pennsylvania. The NYS&W was formed in 1881 out of a merger of six smaller railroads. From 1898 to 1940, the NYS&W operated as a subsidiary of the Erie Railroad after JP Morgan purchased a majority stake on the Erie's behalf. Idylease ( "idle-ease"), a former resort hotel located in Newfoundland, New Jersey, United States, was erected in 1902 and is an architecturally and historically significant example of early 20th century resort architecture in Northwest, New Jersey. The only surviving example of resort facilities in the region, it recalls the popularity of the region as the vacationland for the middle class in the late nineteenth century. Green Pond is a private lakeside residential unincorporated community within Rockaway Township in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. The lakeside community is managed by two corporations, Green Pond Corporation and Lake End Corporation. Green Pond is located in Rockaway Township in Morris County, but has a Newfoundland (Passaic County) mailing address. Newfoundland came to wider attention in 2003 when large portions of the independent film, ''The Station Agent'', were filmed there.
