New Zealand Cricket Team In Australia In 2022–23
The New Zealand cricket team toured Australia in September 2022 to play three One Day International (ODI) matches. The ODI matches were played for the Chappell–Hadlee Trophy, and formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. In May 2022, Cricket Australia confirmed the fixtures for the tour. On 10 September 2022, Aaron Finch announced his retirement from ODI cricket ahead of the third ODI. Background Originally the tour was scheduled to take place in January and February 2021. On 28 May 2020, Cricket Australia confirmed the fixtures for the series. However, in September 2020, Cricket Australia were looking at moving the series wholly into February 2021, to avoid clashing with the end of the 2020–21 Big Bash League season. Aaron James Finch (born 17 November 1986) is an Australian cricket commentator and former international cricketer who served as the captain of the Australian cricket team in One Day International, ODI and Twenty20 International, T20I cricket. Finch currently holds the record for two of the three highest individual scores in Twenty20 Internationals (T20I), his score of 172 against Zimbabwe national cricket team, Zimbabwe in July 2018 beating his previous record of 156 against England national cricket team, England in 2013. Devon Conway
Devon Philip Conway (born 8 July 1991) is a New Zealand cricketer who plays for the New Zealand cricket team in all formats. In March 2020, the International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed that Conway, who was born in South Africa, would be eligible to play for New Zealand from 28 August 2020. Michael Bracewell (cricketer)
Michael Gordon Bracewell (born 14 February 1991) is a New Zealand cricketer who plays for Wellington. He is the nephew of former Test players Brendon and John Bracewell, and the cousin of current international player Doug Bracewell and comedian Melanie Bracewell . He attended Kavanagh College in Dunedin. He made his international debut for the New Zealand cricket team in March 2022.
