Nenad Stefanović
Nenad Stefanović ( sr-cyr, Ненад Стефановић; born 31 August 1985) is a Serbian professional basketball coach and former player. He is the current head coach for Igokea m:tel of the Bosnian League and the ABA League. Playing career A point guard, Stefanović spent his playing career in Serbia, Poland, Montenegro, and Sweden. During his playing days, he played for OKK Beograd, Sloga, Partizan, FMP Železnik, Polpak Swiecie, KK Mogren Budva, Borac Čačak, Metalac, Radnički Kragujevac, Tamiš, Smederevo 1953, Stockholm Eagles, 08 Stockholm, and Žarkovo. He retired as a player with Žarkovo in 2014. Coaching career After retirement in 2014, Stefanović joined a youth system of Žarkovo as the U19 head coach. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Mirza Delibašić Cup (), formerly Basketball Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina (), is the men's national basketball cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 2024–25 Basketball Championship Of Bosnia And Herzegovina
The 2024–25 Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina (or "MaxBet Liga BIH" due to the sponsorship reasons) is 24th season of this championship, with 15 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina participating in it. KK Igokea is the defending champion. Competition format Fourteen of fifteen teams joined the regular season, playing with as double round-robin tournament. The first five teams will join Liga 6 along with KK Igokea. The change in format from this season is that the last three teams will be relegated at the end of regular season. Best placed team at the end of Liga 6 stage supposed to become champion and two best placed teams not participating in the first division of the ABA League will qualify for the second division of the ABA League. The YUBA League was the top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia and Montenegro (previously FR Yugoslavia). Founded in 1992 and folded in 2006, it was run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and Montenegro.
