Nemanja Đurić
Nemanja Đurić ( sr-cyr, Немања Ђурић; June 18, 1936), is a Serbian former professional basketball player and former coach. He represented the Yugoslavia national basketball team internationally. Early life Đurić was raised in a sports family. His father and uncle played football for Slavija in Belgrade. He has trained many sports, played football for Šumadija Belgrade, after which he moved to handball club Hero, and later moved to volleyball club Partizan where he stays for a longer period and played for all youth selections. Đurić started to play basketball at the urging of his friend Slobodan Ivković. Playing career Đurić made his first basketball steps in Crvena zvezda when he was 19. The club felt that he was too old, so he went to Radnički Belgrade. Đurić played in Italy for Noalex Venezia in 1967–68 season. Slobodan Ivković
Slobodan "Piva" Ivković ( sr-cyr, Слободан Ивковић; 4 August 1937 – 28 November 1995) was a Serbian professional basketball player and coach. Playing career Ivković played club basketball at the senior level in the club Radnički Belgrade. He was a well-talented player with much better physical capabilities, but nobody managed to stabilize him as a player. Besides that, he had weak sight, which was a serious problem since in those times many games were played outside, during the night. Coaching career Ivković was one of the first Serbian coaches that went to school in the USA. He was the founder of the creation of a modern coach organization in the former Yugoslavia. He coached in the following clubs: Radnički Belgrade, OKK Belgrade, MZT Skopje, Kazma (Kuwait), and Al Ahli (United Arab Emirates). Odbojkaški klub Partizan () commonly known as OK Partizan, is a volleyball club from Belgrade, Serbia. OK Partizan is a part of JSD Partizan. The club formed in 1946. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the program at the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics. Basketball At The Mediterranean Games
Basketball at the Mediterranean Games has been played consistently since 1951 for men, and 1987 for women. The Yugoslavia national team, which disbanded in 1992, was the most successful men's team, while the Croatia women's national team has been the most successful in the women's competition.
