Nelson Quiñónes
Nelson Giovany Quiñónes Iturre (born 20 August 2002) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Major League Soccer club Houston Dynamo. Career Once Caldas Quiñónes came through the youth ranks of Once Caldas. On 24 July 2021, he made his first-team debut as an 18-year-old, coming off the bench in a 1–1 draw against Jaguares de Córdoba. Quiñónes scored his first goal for Once Caldas on 6 November, also picking up an assist in the match to give ''El Blanco'' a 2–1 win over Envigado. He finished the season with 11 appearances, 1 goal, and 1 assist as Once Caldas finished 17th in the Torneo Finalización table. During the 2022 Torneo Apertura, Quiñónes made 15 appearances as Once Caldas finished 12th in the first stage standings. Tumaco
Tumaco is a port city and municipality in the Nariño Department, Colombia, by the Pacific Ocean. It is located on the southwestern corner of Colombia, near the border with Ecuador, and experiences a hot tropical climate. Tumaco is inhabited mainly by Afro-Colombians and some indigenous people. Tumaco is accessible by plane from Pasto, the capital city of Nariño Department, as well from Cali and Bogotá. It can also be reached by land via highway from Pasto and San Lorenzo (Ecuador). The 2024 Houston Dynamo season was the 19th season of the team's existence since joining Major League Soccer (MLS) prior to the 2006 season. 2024 was the second season under head coach Ben Olsen and the third season under GM Pat Onstad and technical director Asher Mendelsohn. The Leagues Cup is an annual soccer competition between clubs from Major League Soccer (MLS), the main soccer league in the United States, and Liga MX, the main soccer league in Mexico. It is hosted in Canada and the United States. It began in July 2019 with four teams from both leagues participating. The first edition was a single-elimination tournament hosted in the United States with a final played in Whitney, Nevada, near Las Vegas, on September 18, 2019.
