Necla Akdoğan (born November 10, 1971) is a Turkish former women's footballer, referee and manager. She was a member of the Turkey women's national team. She serves a teacher of physical education. Private life Necla Akdoğan was born in Çarşamba district of Samsun Province, northern Turkey on November 10, 1971. She has three sisters and a brother. Akdoğan was inspired in playing football by her elder brother, a footballer. Her brother used to choose her as a partner for training. She decided to pursue a footballer career when she aspired the female footballer in the television film ''Zafere Kaçış'' ("Escape to Victory"), she had watched once. In her youth, she performed athletics. She won titles in middle-distance and long-distance running. She graduated in physical education from the Karadeniz Technical University in Trabzon. Çarşamba is a municipality and district of Samsun Province, Turkey. Its area is 774 km2, and its population is 140,664 (2022). It is in the center of the Çarşamba Plain. Dilan Deniz Gökçek İşcan (born 1976) is a Turkish referee and sports instructor from profession. She is a FIFA listed woman referee since 2005. Gökçek's interest in football began through her elder brother. Six sisters used to watch all football matches with their elder brother, and listen to his comments.
