Near Northeast is a Syracuse, New York neighborhood, located northeast of the city's downtown. It corresponds to Onondaga County Census Tract 15, 16, 23, and 24. Louis Will House
The Louis Will House is a "high-style" Queen Anne style house at 714 N. McBride St. in Syracuse, New York. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 10, 2009. It is currently a private residence. It was the home of Louis Will, Progressive Party mayor of Syracuse during 1914–16. The New Kasson Apartments is a historic apartment building located on James Street in the Near Northeast neighborhood of Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York. It was designed by architectural firm of Merrick and Randall and built in 1898. It is a seven-story, Renaissance Revival style building consisting of two rectangular multi-story blocks. It is a yellow brick and limestone building with cast stone and terra cotta details. The facades features projecting three-sided bays extending from the first through fifth floors. The Barnes-Hiscock House (also known as the Corinthian Club) is a historic building located at 930 James Street in Syracuse, New York. Little Italy Syracuse is an ethnic enclave in Syracuse, New York that contains several bakeries, cafés, pizzerias, restaurants, beauty salons, shops, bars and nightclubs. Interstate 690
Interstate 690 (I-690) is an auxiliary Interstate Highway that extends for through the vicinity of Syracuse, New York, in the United States. It is a spur of I-90 (here part of the New York State Thruway) that travels southeast from Thruway exit 39 in Van Buren to I-481 in DeWitt. In between, I-690 passes through the western suburbs of Syracuse before heading east through the city itself, where it meets I-81 in Downtown Syracuse. The freeway continues northwest of the thruway as New York State Route 690 (NY 690). Route description I-690 begins at a double trumpet interchange with the New York State Thruway (I-90) in the town of Van Buren. The six-lane, fully-shouldered limited-access highway continues north toward Baldwinsville as NY 690 while I-690 travels east from the junction.
