Neafus is an unincorporated community located in northern Butler County, Kentucky, Butler County in south-central Kentucky, United States. Geography Neafus is located at the tripoint where Butler County's northern boundaries meet with the boundary between Ohio County, Kentucky, Ohio and Grayson County, Kentucky, Grayson Counties. The community also marks the northern terminus of Kentucky Route 340, which previously connected with U.S. Route 62 in Kentucky, US 62 west of Do Stop, Kentucky, Do Stop. Notable residents Neafus is the birthplace of Medal of Honor recipient, PVT Wesley Phelps, United States Marine Corps, USMC. Grayson County, Kentucky
Grayson County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of the 2020 census, the population was 26,420. Its county seat is Leitchfield. The county was formed in 1810 and named for William Grayson (1740-1790), a Revolutionary War colonel and a prominent Virginia political figure. Grayson County was formerly a prohibition or dry county, but Leitchfield allowed limited alcohol sales in restaurants in 2010 and voted "wet" in 2016.
