Julia Navarrete Guerrero (1 June 1881 - 21 November 1974) - in religious Julia of the Thorns of the Sacred Heart - was a Mexican Roman Catholic professed religious and the founder of the Misioneras Hijas de la Purísima Virgen María. Navarrete first felt called to promote religious education from her adolescence while still a student before moving to the national capital where she met the Jesuit priest Alberto Cuscó who formed her in the religious life. Not long after this she became a nun and set about founding schools and missions across both Mexico and the United States where she first started in Texas. Her brother Juan María Navarrete Guerrero became the Archbishop of Hermosillo and whose beatification process is ongoing. Her beatification process launched in Mexico in 1985 and Pope John Paul II later titled her as Venerable on 22 June 2004 as confirmation that Navarrete maintained heroic virtue in her life. Juan Pizarro Navarrete (October 1945 – 7 November 2022) was a Spanish physician and politician from the region of Andalusia. A member of the People's Party, Pizarro represented the Province of Jaén in the Congress of Deputies from 1991 until 1993 and in the Parliament of Andalusia from 2000 until 2012. Pizarro also served as mayor of Úbeda from 1995 to 1999 and from 2003 to 2007. Biography Juan Pizarro Navarrete was born in October 1945 in the town of Salvaleón, Extremadura. Juan Hernandez Navarrete (born 24 February 1987) is a Mexican professional boxer who held the WBC flyweight title in 2017. Professional career Hernández turned professional in 2004 and compiled a record of 18-1 before unsuccessfully challenging Japanese fighter Kazuto Ioka for his WBC minimumweight title. Biography An illness in infancy deprived Navarrete of his hearing, which affected his ability to learn to speak. At a very early age he began to express his wants by sketching objects with a piece of charcoal.
