Natalia Kaczmarek
Natalia Bukowiecka (; born 17 January 1998) is a Polish sprinter who specialises in the 400 metres. She is a three-time Olympic Games medallist and won the gold medal in the mixed 4 × 400 metres relay and the silver medal in the 4 × 400 metres relay at the 2020 Summer Olympics, and the bronze medal in the 400 metres at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Bukowiecka is also a World Championships silver medallist, European Championships gold and silver medallist and European Games silver medallist in the 400 metres, and a World Indoor Championships silver and bronze medallist, two-time World Relays silver medallist, European Championships gold and silver medallist and European Indoors Championships bronze medallist in the 4 × 400 metres relay. Drezdenko
Drezdenko (; ) is a town in western Poland, in Lubusz Voivodeship, in Strzelce-Drezdenko County. As of December 2021, the town has a population of 9,804. History The area was a site of a border fort of the medieval Polish state. During the reign of Bolesław III Wrymouth it was raised to the rank of a castellany. During the period of feudal fragmentation of Poland it was initially part of the Duchy of Greater Poland and then subject of fighting between the Duchy and the Margraviate of Brandenburg, which took control of it after 1296. It was sold by the Brandenburgians to the Monastic Order of the Teutonic Knights in 1317, under the authority of the knights Burkhard and Heinrich von der Osten. European Athletics Championships
The European Athletics Championships is a biennial (from 2010) athletics event organised by the European Athletic Association and is recognised as the elite continental outdoor athletics championships for Europe. Editions First held, for men only, in 1934 in Turin, and separately for women for the first time in Vienna in 1938, the Championships took place every four years following the end of the World War II, with the exception of the 1969 and 1971 editions, becoming a joint men's and women's competition from the third edition in 1946 in Oslo. 2024 IAAF World Relays – Women's 4 × 400 Metres Relay
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern. The 2024 World Athletics Relays was held in Nassau, Bahamas on 4 and 5 May 2024. Overview The first 3 editions of the IAAF World Relays (former name) have been held in the same site: 2014 IAAF World Relays, 2015 IAAF World Relays and 2017 IAAF World Relays. The World Athletics Relays, known as the ''IAAF World Relays'' until 2019, is an international biennial track and field sporting event held by World Athletics where teams from around the world compete in relay races, some of which are not part of the standard Olympic programme. The first three editions were set to take place in Nassau, Bahamas at the Thomas Robinson Stadium in 2014, 2015 and 2017. Originally intended as an annual event, it was later decided to happen every odd year, in the same year as the World Athletics Championships for which it serves as a qualification stage. The women's 4 × 400 metres relay at the 2022 World Athletics Indoor Championships took place in two rounds at the Štark Arena in Belgrade, Serbia, on 20 March 2022. Ten national teams competed in the two heats of round 1 during the morning session. National records were set by the teams of Belgium (3:30.58 minutes), Ireland (3:30.97 minutes), Canada (3:31.45 minutes), and Slovenia (3:37.08 minutes). 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships – Women's 4 × 400 Metres Relay
The women's 4 × 400 metres relay at the 2018 IAAF World Indoor Championships took place on 3 and 4 March 2018. Summary USA, in lane 5 was led off by Quanera Hayes, opening up a slight lead from the gun, but going in to the second turn, Ukraine's Tetyana Melnyk accelerated and hit the break line ahead. Hayes was unable to get ahead of Melnyk, held to the outside of their penultimate turn. Down the backstretch, Hayes was able to ease into the lead, with Jamaica's Tovea Jenkins on her heels. Through the final turn Hayes and Jenkins put a gap on the next pursuer as Melnyk tied up and Poland's Justyna Święty-Ersetic had to make her way around the obstacle. Hayes's split 51.56.
