Naitō Yoriyasu
was the 7th Naitō ''daimyō'' of Takatō Domain in Shinano Province, Honshū, Japan (modern-day Nagano Prefecture) and 12th hereditary chieftain of the Takatō-Naitō clan. His courtesy title was ''Ōsumi-no-kami'', later ''Yamato-no-kami'' and subsequently ''Suruga-no-kami'', and his List of Japanese court ranks, positions and hereditary titles, Court rank was Junior Fifth Rank, Lower Grade. Biography Naitō Yoriyasu was the third son of Naitō Yorimochi, and was proclaimed heir after his elder brother Yorikata was disinherited for reasons which are unknown to history. He became ''daimyō'' in 1820 on the retirement of his father. Shimazu Nariakira
was a Japanese feudal lord (''daimyō'') of the Edo period, the 28th in the line of Shimazu clan lords of Satsuma Domain. He was renowned as an intelligent and wise lord, and was greatly interested in Western learning and technology. He was enshrined after death as the Shinto kami in May 1863. Early life and rise to power Shimazu Nariakira was born at the Satsuma domain's estate in Edo, on April 28, 1809. From his mother, he was descendant of Date Masamune, Tokugawa Ieyasu and Oda Nobunaga. Himeji Domain
was a Han (Japan), feudal domain under the Tokugawa shogunate of Edo period Japan, located in Harima Province in what is now the southern portion of modern-day Hyōgo Prefecture. It was centered around Himeji Castle, which is located in what is now the city of Himeji, Hyōgo. was the 12th (and final) ''daimyō'' of Shōnai Domain during Bakumatsu period Japan. His courtesy title was ''Saemon-no-jō''. Biography Sakai Tadamichi was the sixth son of Sakai Tadaaki, the 6th ''daimyō'' of Shōnai. He became ''daimyō'' in 1868, when his elder brother, the 11th ''daimyō'' of Shōnai Sakai Tadazumi was deposed by the Meiji government over his role in leading the domain during the Boshin War as part of the pro-Tokugawa Ōuetsu Reppan Dōmei. Shōnai Domain was initially punished by a reduction in ''kokudaka'' to 120,000 ''koku''; however, the Meiji government was in a state of confusion and flux.
