Nadvučnik is a village in Croatia. It is connected by the D3 highway. History In 1860–1879, Matija Mažuranić wrote a 62 folio manuscript today titled Writings on the Building of Roads in Gorski Kotar and Lika (), today with signature HR- Za NSK R 6424. A 21 folio manuscript dated 1872 titled Darstellung der Entstehung des Baues ... der Luisenstrasse togethr with a translation by I. Mikloušić is kept as HR- Za NSK R 4572. In 1864, a rinderpest outbreak in Bosanci and Kasuni caused the Lujzijana to be closed to horned traffic for 21 days in December. Construction on the Črnomelj-Vrbovsko railway begun in 1939, but by 1940 it had come to a halt thanks to a worker dispute. Thanks to the outbreak of WWI, it was never finished. Nadvučnik was hit by the 2014 Dinaric ice storm. On 27 March 2021, a magnitude 2.1 earthquake occurred between Presika, Nadvučnik and Međedi. Draga Lukovdolska
Draga Lukovdolska is a village in Croatia, under the Vrbovsko township, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. Lukovdol
Lukovdol is a small village located in the Gorski Kotar region of Croatia, about one mile south of the Slovenian border. Lukovdol is part of Vrbovsko municipality. Local industries include cattle raising, lumber processing, and textile products. Lukovdol is the birthplace of Ivan Goran Kovačić, one of Croatia's most notable poets of the 20th century, and the site of a memorial museum dedicated to him, opened in 1975. History Lukovdol was first mentioned on 22 February 1481 in a document freeing the citizens of Grič from tariffs in Lukovdol and elsewhere. Lujzijana
The Louisiana road () is a roadway in Croatia, built between 1803 and 1812 by an association of noble families ( Lichtenstein, Dietrichstein, Esterházy, Harrach, Batthyány, Anna Maria Erdődy) and designed by Josef Philipp Vukassovich. The road was finished by the French Empire. It is named after Napoleon's second wife Marie Louise. It linked Rijeka with Karlovac through Grobničko polje, Kamenjak, Gornje Jelenje, Lokve, Delnice, Skrad, Stubica, Severin na Kupi, and Netretić. The length of the Louisiana road was 18 Austrian miles (1 mile = 7.585 km). It was about 8 m wide (26 Wiener Fuß). Gorenci is a village in Croatia, under the Vrbovsko township, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County. History The Lukovdol-Plemenitaš road which passes through Gorenci was asphalted in 1981. Vrbovsko
Vrbovsko ( sr-Cyrl, Врбовско) is a town in western Croatia, situated at the far east of the mountainous region of Gorski Kotar in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County; on its 280 square kilometers area, Vrbovsko features 60 settlements and a total of 3876 inhabitants. D3 is a state road in western parts of Croatia connecting Rijeka on the Adriatic Sea, Adriatic coast to Zagreb, Karlovac and Varaždin, as well as to the Goričan border crossing to Hungary. Kasuni
Kasuni is a village in Croatia. History In 1864, the rinderpest epidemic reached Kasuni, having just subsided in Gornja Kupčina, Zamršje and Čeglje. Severin Na Kupi
Severin na Kupi is a village and part of Vrbovsko municipality, in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, in Croatia. It is situated above the Kupa valley on the part of the D3 (Croatia), D3 highway formerly known as the ''Lujzijana''. It is known for the cliffside Severin castle, one of the best preserved remains of an extensive Christian fortification network during the Turkish wars. As of 2021, it has a population of 113.
