NSÍ Runavík
NSÍ Runavík is a Faroe Islands, Faroese professional association football, football club, playing in Runavík on the island of Eysturoy. It was founded 24 March 1957. In 2003 NSÍ participated for the first time on a European stage. In 2007, the club won the Faroe Islands Premier League for the first time. The club has won the Faroe Islands Cup in 1986, 2002 and 2017. Aside from these instances, NSÍ Runavík featured in the 1980, 1985, 1988, 2004 and 2015 tournament finals. The club plays in yellow and black. Their stadium (Runavík Stadium, Við Løkin) has a capacity of 2,000. It is not approved by UEFA for international play, so Runavík play their UEFA Europa League matches at Tórsvøllur in Tórshavn or Svangaskarð in Toftir. The main sponsor of NSÍ is Navigare.fo, Navigare, which is based in Runavík near Bakkafrost which is the largest salmon-farming company in the Faroe Islands. Runavík Stadium
Runavík is a comparatively urbanised village in Runavík Municipality, Faroe Islands. It lies on the south half of the isle of Eysturoy. Port Founded in 1916, Runavík has an important port, originally used predominantly by fishing boats but now also a key supply base for the North Sea oil industry as well as a trans-shipment port for freight to and from Europe. The harbour underwent development in the late 1990s and can now accommodate cruise ships. Eysturoyartunnilin A massive infrastructure project has been mounted to build an 11 km-long sub-sea tunnel between Runavík and Tórshavn, thereby significantly reducing travel times to the capital. Construction costs are estimated to be around 1 billion Faroese króna. The 2007 Faroe Islands Premier League was the 65th annual competition since its establishment. In this championship, AB Argir and B71 Sandur were promoted from 1. deild. Michał Damian Przybylski (born 29 December 1997) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Faroese club NSÍ Runavík. Petur Knudsen
Petur Knudsen (born 21 April 1998) is a Faroese professional footballer who plays as a forward for NSÍ and the Faroe Islands national team. Club career On 30 June 2021, Knudsen signed a two-year deal with newly relegated Danish 1st Division club Lyngby Boldklub. He won promotion to the Danish Superliga in his first season with the club, making 26 total appearances in which he scored eight goals.
