Nalia Radio and Television (NRT) is a media network in the Kurdistan Region Kurdistan Region (KRI) is a semi-autonomous Federal regions of Iraq, federal region of the Iraq, Republic of Iraq. Shaswar Abdulwahid Qadir is the owner and founder of Nalia Media Corporation and is built under the slogan of ‘Courage, Balance and Truth.’ In the first week of its launch (Feb 17, 2011), NRT TV was burned down to the ground, but it was rebuilt. On October 26, 2013 there was an assassination attempt on owner and founder of NRT, Shaswar Abdulwahid Qadir which he survived although injured in his leg. 1080i
In high-definition television (HDTV) and video display technology, 1080i is a video display format with 1080 lines of vertical resolution and Interlaced video, interlaced scanning method. This format was once a standard in HDTV. It was particularly used for broadcast television because it can deliver high-resolution images without needing excessive bandwidth. This format is used in the SMPTE 292M standard. Definition The number "1080" in 1080i refers to the number of horizontal lines that make up the vertical resolution of the display. Sulaymaniyah
Sulaymaniyah or Slemani (; ), is a city in the east of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and is the capital of the Sulaymaniyah Governorate. It is surrounded by the Azmar (Ezmer), Goizha (Goyje) and Qaiwan (Qeywan) Mountains in the northeast, Baranan Mountain in the south and the Tasluja Hills in the west. Shaswar Abdulwahid Qadir
Shaswar Abdulwahid (; born 2 December 1978) is an Iraqi Kurdish businessman and politician, leader of New Generation Movement and the founder of NRT media. Business Shaswar founded the Nalia Media Corporation conglomerate, one of the biggest media organisations in Kurdish Iraq, which operates NRT News, several television stations, "real estate" and a theme park. Kurdistan referendum 2017 Abdulwahid entered politics in 2017, during the Kurdistan Region's independence referendum. Shaswar launched a "No for now".
