NK Renče (defunct)
Nogometni klub Renče (), commonly referred to as NK Renče or simply Renče, was a Slovenian football club from Renče. Founded in 1970, the club competed in the Slovenian Second League under the sponsorship name Goriške Opekarne. They played their home games at the Renče Sports Park. After the 2000–01 Slovenian Third League season, NK Renče was dissolved as they merged with NK Brda. A successor club was established in 2000 under the name ND Renče. Renče (; ) is a settlement in the lower Vipava Valley in the Municipality of Renče–Vogrsko in the Littoral region of Slovenia. The Slovenian Second Football League (), also known by the abbreviation 2. SNL, is the second highest Association football, football league in Slovenia. The league was formed in 1991 and is operated by the Football Association of Slovenia. Format and rules In its inaugural edition in 1991–92 Slovenian Second League, 1991–92, the Slovenian Second League was divided into two regional groups (East and West), with both winners directly promoted to the Slovenian PrvaLiga. In 1992, a unified league was formed, with 16 clubs playing the Round-robin tournament, round-robin system, which lasted until 2003.
