Myrick, Oregon
Myrick is an unincorporated historic community in Umatilla County, Oregon, United States. It is between Pendleton and Helix, just south of Oregon Route 334. Myrick is a station on the Burlington Northern Railroad that was originally named "Warren". Helix, Oregon
Helix is a city in Umatilla County, Oregon, United States. The population was 184 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Pendleton– Hermiston Micropolitan Statistical Area. History Helix, a geometry term and a part of the ear, was originally to be named Oxford, but authorities declined that option when the community's post office was to be named in 1880. Columbia County is one of the 36 counties in the U.S. state of Oregon. As of the 2020 census, the population was 52,589. The county seat is St. Helens. Warren, Oregon
Warren is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Columbia County, Oregon, United States, located on U.S. Route 30 north of Scappoose and south of St. Helens on Scappoose Bay of the Multnomah Channel. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 1,787. The Warren post office was established in 1885; it was named by local resident James Gill for his hometown of Warren, Massachusetts. The post office was discontinued in 1888, but reestablished in 1890 as "Gilltown" because there was another post office named Warren in Umatilla County. The Columbia County office became Warren again in 1895, and the Umatilla County office was closed in 1902; the locality in Umatilla County is now known as Myrick. Yarmouth is a town in Cumberland County, Maine, United States, twelve miles north of the state's largest city, Portland. Oregon Route 334 (OR 334) is an Oregon state highway running from OR 37 near Myrick to OR 11 near Athena. OR 334 is known as the Athena-Holdman Highway No. 334 (see Oregon highways and routes). Pendleton is a city and the county seat of Umatilla County, Oregon. The population was 17,107 at the time of the 2020 census, which includes approximately 1,600 people who are incarcerated at Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution.
