Michael Crozier
Michael Henry Crozier (8 June 1937 – 21 July 2012) was New Zealand politician and physicist. He was the fifth president of ACT New Zealand, a libertarian right-wing political party. Crozier was elected as the ACT New Zealand president in March 2009, defeating Chris Simmons. Crozier resigned five months before his two-year term was to finish to take a long-planned trip to Europe with his wife. Chris Simmons was confirmed as the new president by the ACT New Zealand board on 21 October 2010. Rodney Philip Hide (born 16 December 1956) is a former New Zealand politician of the ACT New Zealand party. Hide was a Member of Parliament for ACT from 1996 until 2011, was ACT's leader between 2004 and 2011, and represented the constituency from 2005 to 2011. In the Fifth National Government, Hide was Minister of Local Government, Associate Minister of Commerce and Minister of Regulatory Reform until 2011. He stepped down as ACT leader in April 2011 after a leadership challenge from Don Brash and retired from Parliament at the general election later that year. Early life Rodney Philip Hide was born in Oxford in Canterbury. His father, Philip Hide, owned a small mixed-farm at Cust and also drove trucks. Garry B. Mallett is a New Zealand politician. He was the fourth President of ACT New Zealand. As of 2010 he resides in Hamilton, New Zealand, and is a former owner-operator of a branch of Les Mills International there. Christopher Matthew Simmons (born 8 January 1975 in Gravesend, Kent) is an English television and stage actor. He is best known for his roles as DC Mickey Webb in ''The Bill'', Mark Garland in '' EastEnders'' and Stuart Summer in ''Hollyoaks''. Early life Simmons grew up on Singlewell Road in Gravesend and attended Saint Georges CofE Secondary School. Prior to taking up acting, he had several jobs including working as a diver on the River Thames with his Dad. Career Simmons' first television appearance was on the 1998 ITV series ''Desperately Seeking Stardom'', in which a group of unemployed actors went to Hollywood to try to find acting roles.
