Massimiliano Frani
Massimiliano Frani (born 10 January 1967 in Venice, Italy) is an Italian pianist, composer and music pedagogue. He is the founder of the project MET – Music Education Therapy and director of the Armoniæ Centro Internazionale di Musica e Cultura. He currently works as a musical art teacher at Elevations RTC, a residential treatment center in Syracuse, Utah, and lives in the state. Education Frani began his piano education at the Conservatorio di Musica Benedetto Marcello di Venezia in Venice, where he graduated with honors. After his studies in literature and theatre at the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Frani attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. The Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is best known for its Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, the second largest piano competition in the United States. Arie Vardi
Arie Vardi ( he, אריה ורדי; born 1937) is a classical pianist, conductor, and piano pedagogue. He is laureate of the Israel Prize in 2017. Biography Vardi was born in Tel Aviv and graduated from the Rubin Academy (renamed the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music in 2005) and earned a law degree at Tel Aviv University. He obtained a soloist diploma from at City of Basel Music Academy. Among his music teachers were Paul Baumgartner (piano), Pierre Boulez and Karlheinz Stockhausen (composition). Lee Kum-Sing
Lee Kum-Sing () is a Canadian classical pianist and piano pedagogue originally from Sumatra. Biography Lee Kum-Sing studied with Gerhard Puchelt and Hans Richter-Haaser in Berlin and with Julius Katchen and Magda Tagliaferro in Paris. He debuted in New York's Carnegie Hall in 1963 and in London's Wigmore Hall in 1969 and has since received international recognition. Edna Golandsky is a classical music pianist, lecturer and pedagogue of renown. She is a graduate of the Juilliard School, where she studied under Rosina Lhévinne and Adele Marcus. Joseph Murray Banowetz (December 5, 1934 – July 3, 2022) was an American pianist, pedagogue, author, and editor, who taught at the University of North Texas. Banowetz was an expert on the music of the Russian romantic composer Anton Rubinstein. Biography Banowetz studied first in New York City with Carl Friedberg, a pupil of German composer-pianist Clara Schumann.
