Martingrove Collegiate Institute
Martingrove Collegiate Institute (MCI), also referred to as Martingrove, is a semestered public secondary school in Etobicoke, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It opened in 1966 and is currently overseen by the Toronto District School Board. Academics Gifted Program Martingrove is currently one of two TDSB designated high schools for the Gifted Program in Etobicoke (the other being Thistletown Collegiate Institute). AP & Pre-AP Program Martingrove offers the Advanced Placement Program and Pre-AP Program to its students. The Pre-AP Program begins in Grade 9 and continues through Grade 11, and is meant to teach students the necessary skills, knowledge, and foundations for success in preparation for entrance to the Advanced Placement Program in grade 12. ''Reach for the Top'' (also known simply as ''Reach'') is a Canadian academic quiz competition for high school students. In the past, it has also been a game show nationally broadcast on the CBC. Matches are currently aired online through Reach for the Top's official YouTube channel. Teams qualify for national rounds through several stages of non-televised tournaments held at high schools throughout Canada during the year which are known as Schoolreach. The New Jersey Devils are a professional ice hockey team based in Newark, New Jersey. The Devils compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Metropolitan Division in the Eastern Conference. Bruce Douglas Driver (born April 29, 1962) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played 15 seasons in the National Hockey League from 1983–84 until 1997–98. Early life When he was 12, Driver played in the 1975 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the MTHL's Shopsy's, a youth team affiliated with the Toronto Marlies. When he was 13, Driver was cut from his bantam team because evaluators thought he was too small.
