Mark Stodola
Mark Stodola (born May 18, 1949) is an American politician and lawyer. First elected in 2006, he served as the Mayor of Little Rock, Arkansas, from January 2007 through December 2018. Stodola won re-election to a second, four-year term in November 2010 by a landslide 84.73 percent of the vote. His re-election in 2014 was unopposed. Stodola is currently president of the National League of Cities. Family Stodola is married to his wife Jo Ellen and together they have 3 children: one daughter named Allison and twin sons named John Mark and Robert. The Mayor of Little Rock, Arkansas serves as the chief executive of the city government. Little Rock was first incorporated as a town in November 1831 and redefined as a city under a new charter in November 1835. During the American Civil War, Little Rock was captured and occupied by Union forces beginning September 21, 1863, leaving the city without a civilian government until December 1865. Starting in November 1869, the president of the City Council presided over council meetings and signed ordinances, performing many of the duties formerly ascribed to the Mayor. Arkansas Repertory Theatre
Arkansas Repertory Theatre (The Rep) is the longest-running nonprofit resident theater in Arkansas. It is affiliated with Actors' Equity Association and offers a year-round season. The Rep is housed in a 377-seat facility in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was founded in 1976 by Cliff Fannin Baker. The Rep's Executive Artistic Director is Will Trice.
