Marina Ribatski
Marina Evelyn Vello Ribatski (born December 10, 1984), also known as Marina Gasolina, Marina Ribatski and MC Marina Vello, is a Brazilian singer and the former MC/Singer/Songwriter for Brazilian Funk Carioca band Bonde do Rolê. She decided to leave the band in December 2007 due to problems within the band. Her musical influences include Hole. She was formerly a literature student at the Federal University of Paraná. Life and career After playing in several punk bands during her teenage years, Marina founded and fronted Domino signed, Brazilian baile funk band Bonde Do Role. After touring the world for two years straight, they released their debut album ‘With Lasers’ which was produced by Diplo, DJ Chernobyl and Radioclit. Electronicat is the alter ego of French musician and performer Fred Bigot, whose work is characterized by its constant switch between experimental noise and pop music. His early collaborations include work with Kasper T. Toeplitz on the project "Sleaze Art", work with various choreographers (e.g. Sylvain Prunenec), theatre directors (Celia Houdart) and artists (e.g. Cecile Babiole). From 1997 until 2000 he collaborated with visual artist Cecile Babiole on an audio/visual show "Hot Spectrum", playing at festivals such as Phonotaktik in Vienna or FCMM in Montréal, after which he decided to perform solo. Ladytron are a largely British electronic band formed in Liverpool in 1999. The group consists of Helen Marnie (lead vocals, synthesizers), Mira Aroyo (vocals, synthesizers), Daniel Hunt (synthesizers, guitar, vocals), and Reuben Wu (synthesizers). Daniel Hunt (born 25 July 1974) is an English musician, songwriter and producer. He is a founding member, principal songwriter and producer of the electronic band Ladytron. Biography Hunt met Reuben Wu in Liverpool in 1995 and formed Ladytron with him in 1999, along with Mira Aroyo and Helen Marnie. A ''dansa'' (), also spelt ''dança'', was an Old Occitan form of lyric poetry developed in the late thirteenth century among the troubadours. It is related to the English term "dance" and was often accompanied by dancing. A closely related form, the ''balada'' or ''balaresc'', had a more complex structure, and is related to the ballade but unrelated to the ballad. Both terms derive from Occitan words for "to dance": ''dansar'' and ''balar/ballar''.
