Marie-Guite Dufay
Marie-Marguerite Dufay, best known as Marie-Guite Dufay (born 21 May 1949), is a French politician of the Socialist Party (PS) who serves as president of the regional council of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Political career Dufay was first elected to the Besançon city council in 1989. Six years later, she was appointed as deputy mayor of Besançon (1995 to 2008). In the 2004 Franche-Comté regional election, she was second in the Socialist List just after Raymond Forni. After the death of President Raymond Forni, she was elected by the assembly as President of the Region. France Info (; stylized as franceinfo:) is a French domestic rolling news channel which started broadcasting on 31 August 2016 at 6:00 p.m. on the Web. TV broadcasting began on 1 September 2016 at 8:00 p.m. on most TV operators (Bouygues Telecom, Orange, SFR, Numericable...), and on the TNT (Digital Terrestrial Television). Franche-Comté Regional Councillors
Franche-Comté (, ; ; Frainc-Comtou: ''Fraintche-Comtè''; frp, Franche-Comtât; also german: Freigrafschaft; es, Franco Condado; all ) is a cultural and historical region of eastern France. Éric Alauzet (born 7 June 1958) is a French politician of Renaissance (RE) who has been serving as a member of the National Assembly since the 2012 elections, representing the 2nd constituency of the department of Doubs. Political career During his first term in the National Assembly from 2012 until 2017, Alauzet served on the Finance Committee. On 19 May 2016, together with five other MPs, he left the Green Group, causing its dissolution, and joined the Socialists' parliamentary group. In the Socialist Party's primaries ahead of the 2017 presidential elections, Alauzet endorsed François de Rugy, even though his party had already nominated Yannick Jadot as its official candidate. The French legislative elections took place on 10 June and 17 June 2007 to elect the 13th National Assembly of the Fifth Republic, a few weeks after the French presidential election run-off on 6 May. 7,639 candidates stood for 577 seats, including France's overseas possessions. Early first-round results projected a large majority for President Nicolas Sarkozy's UMP and its allies; however, second-round results showed a closer race and a stronger left. The 2nd constituency of Doubs ( French: ''Deuxième circonscription du Doubs'') is one of five electoral districts in the department of the same name, each of which returns one deputy to the French National Assembly in elections using the two-round system, with a run-off if no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote in the first round. Description The constituency is made up of the six former cantons of Besançon Est, Besançon Nord-Est, Besançon Sud, Marchaux, Ornans, and Roulans.
