HMAS Diamantina (M 86)
HMAS ''Diamantina'' (M 86), named after the Diamantina River, is a ''Huon''-class minehunter currently serving in the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Built by a joint partnership between Australian Defence Industries (ADI) and Intermarine SpA, ''Diamantina'' was constructed at ADI's Newcastle shipyard, and entered service in 2000. M86 (New York City Bus)
The 86th Street Crosstown Line is a bus line in Manhattan, New York City, running mostly along 86th Street on the Upper West and Upper East Sides of Manhattan. Originally a streetcar line, it now comprises the M86 Select Bus Service bus line. The M86 has the highest "per-mile ridership" of all bus routes in the city, and the second highest ridership of all Manhattan crosstown routes after the M14A/D routes along 14th Street. Because of this, the M86 became a Select Bus Service route in July 2015. Sergei Konstantinovich Tumansky (russian: Серге́й Константинович Туманский; – 9 September 1973) was a designer of Soviet aircraft engines and the chief designer in the Tumansky Design Bureau, OKB-300. He worked in TsIAM (1931–38 and in 1940), and at the aircraft-engine plant N 29, in Zaporozhye. He also worked as a substitute main designer in OKB A.A. Mikulin beginning in 1943. The M86 sniper rifle is a bolt-action sniper rifle manufactured by Harris Gunworks (formerly Harris-McMillan Gunworks, formerly G. McMillan & Co.). It was used by the U.S. armed forces, primarily Navy SEALs and Delta Force. It was most commonly built in 7.62×51mm NATO chambering with an internal 5-round magazine, or optionally configured to use either 5- or 10-round M14 detachable box magazines. The M86 Pursuit Deterrent Munition (PDM) is a small United States anti-personnel mine intended to be used by special forces to deter pursuing enemy forces. Description The M86 anti-personnel mine is to be deployed as a deterrent munition by special forces or selected personnel only on operations where they may be pursued by an enemy. The M86 mine is similar in configuration and possesses functioning characteristics of the ADAM mine presently loaded in the 155mm projectile, M731 (and M692). The mine is wedge shaped, and contains a safety clip, arming strap assembly, internal safety and arming device, seven trip-line sensor, a reserve battery, electronic circuitry containing an IC chip, and a kill mechanism surrounded by an overlay containing a liquid propellant, and encapsulated in a moulded plastic form. M-86 (Michigan Highway)
M-86 is an east–west state trunkline highway in the US state of Michigan in the southern portion of the Lower Peninsula. The highway starts at Business US Highway 131 (Bus. US 131) and M-60 in Three Rivers and ends at US Highway 12 (US 12) near Coldwater. In between, it crosses farm country and runs along a section of the Prairie River. Following a highway originally numbered M-7, the roadway was renumbered M-86 in 1940. It has been a part of the state highway system at least since 1927. Two other roadways carried the M-86 designation in the 1920s. Two bridges along the road are eligible for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The M86 is a short metropolitan route in the Greater Johannesburg, South Africa. It connects Krugersdorp with Randpark Ridge via Roodepoort. There is also a short 5 km road in Kempton Park which is designated as the M86.
