Mònica Bonell Tuset
Mònica Bonell Tuset (born 7 August 1971) is a Democratic politician from Andorra. She worked in the tourism industry. She was second deputy mayor of the city of Canillo for eight years, and Deputy General Syndic of the General Council of Andorra for a further eight years. From 2023 she is the Andorran Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. Life Bonell Tuset was born in 1971, and graduated with a degree in tourism. She then worked in a number of companies involved in tourist activities, with her focus being on administrative work. She also worked in public administration. Her move into a political career began when she served as second deputy mayor of the city of Canillo from 2003 and 2011. Xavier Espot Zamora
Xavier Espot Zamora (born 30 October 1979) is an Andorran judge and politician who has served as Prime Minister of Andorra and President of the Democrats for Andorra since 2019. He previously served as Minister of Social Affairs, Justice, and the Interior from 2012 to 2019. A trained lawyer, Espot began his professional career as a court clerk and later served as a judge in various sections of the Andorran judiciary. Early life Xavier Espot Zamora was born on the 30th of October 1979 in Escaldes-Engordany, Andorra. He is the son of Xavier Espot Miró, a minister for the Social Democratic Party, and Melània Zamora, a businesswoman. Canillo
Canillo () is one of the seven parishes which make up Andorra. Canillo is also the name of the main town of the parish. The parish is considered the religious center of Andorra with the Sanctuary and Chapel of Our Lady of Meritxell, patron saint of Andorra, and contains one of the best-preserved romanesque churches in the Pyrenees, Sant Joan de Caselles. It has a population of 4,826 as of 2011. Despite having a tourist vocation, the parish of Canillo still retains many livestock and agricultural traits. It borders France to the north and east. Sílvia Riva González (born 18 March 1979, Andorra) is an Andorran politician and notary. She served as the Minister of Cultura and Sports 2019 until 2023. Education Riva González was born in 1979 in Andorra. She completed part of her studies in Barcelona, qualifying with a degree in law and political science from Pompeu Fabra University.
