Allsvenskan (; ), also known as Fotbollsallsvenskan (, ) is a professional association football league in Sweden and the highest level of the Swedish football league system. Founded in 1924, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Superettan, the second highest league in the Swedish football, Swedish men's football league system. Seasons run from late March or early April to the beginning of November, with the 16 clubs all meeting each other twice, resulting in a 30-match season, for a total of 240 matches league-wide. Allsvenskan is ranked 23rd in the UEFA coefficients of leagues based on performances in European competitions over the last five years. Allsvenskan is currently ranked third highest among the leagues in Scandinavia, after UEFA coefficient#Current ranking, Norway and Denmark. Jan Hellström
Jan Erik "Janne" Hellström (born February 21, 1960) is a Swedish former footballer who played as a striker, most notably for IFK Norrköping. He won six caps for the Sweden national team between 1986 and 1989 and represented the Sweden Olympic team at the 1988 Summer Olympics. Career Hellström played Swedish top league football for IFK Norrköping (247 games, 102 goals) and Örgryte IS. He started his career in Örtomta GoIS as a youth, then moved, still in his teens, to IF Saab from Linköping. In 1977, his first season as a senior, in the second division, Hellström scored three goals in five games. Saab was relegated and, in the following year, he had his real breakthrough as a senior playing, netting 25 goals. Mirosław Kubisztal (born 12 February 1962) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a forward for Unia Tarnów, Cracovia, GKS Katowice, and Swedish club Örebro SK, where he played 161 matches and scored 68 goals. Dan Martin Nataniel Dahlin (; born 16 April 1968) is a Swedish former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Striker (association football), striker. In his prime, he was considered one of the world's best strikers. The 1992–93 season of the European Cup Winners' Cup was won by Parma in the final against Antwerp. Both were first time finalists in the competition, and Antwerp were the last Belgian side to reach a European final up to the present day.
