Musab Malaj or Musab Mala (born 17 November 1996) is a Kosovan professional basketball player for Peja of the Kosovo Superleague. He is part of the Kosovo national team. Professional career Lipjani (2018–2019) Malaj averaged 16 points, 4 assists and 4 rebounds per game for Lipjani in the 2018–19 season. Bashkimi (2019–2021) On September 11, 2019, Malaj signed for Bashkimi. Rahoveci (2021–2022) From 2021 until 2022, Malaj played for Rahoveci of the Kosovo Superleague and Liga Unike. Trepça (2022–2023) On December 12, 2022, Malaj signed for Trepça. He won the Kosovo Cup with Trepça in 2023. Prizreni (2023) On July 16, 2023, Malaj signed for Proton Cable Prizreni. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The Balkan International Basketball League (BIBL), also known as the Balkan League, is a multinational professional basketball league that features mostly clubs from the Balkans. The league included teams from countries as Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Albania and Israel. The most recent league champion is Hapoel Galil Elyon from Israel. Purpose The purpose of the Balkan International Basketball League is to provide competitive international play for clubs in the Balkans that would otherwise be unable to participate in international basketball. ''Koha Ditore'' (trans. ''Daily Time'') is the leading daily newspaper in Kosovo. It is published by Koha Group and was founded and owned by politician Veton Surroi.
