Munster Under-20 Hurling Championship
The Munster GAA Hurling Under-20 Championship, known simply as the Munster Under-20 Championship, is an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). It is the highest inter-county hurling competition for male players between the ages of 17 and 20 in the province of Munster. The championship was contested as the Munster Under-21 Championship between 1964 and 2018 before changing to an under-20 age category from 2019. It is sponsored by Bord Gáis Energy. The final, currently held in May, serves as the culmination of a series of games played during a six-week period, and the results determine which team receives the J. J. 2025 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship
The 2025 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship was the seventh staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship, All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 62nd staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship, minor and All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, senior grades. The provincial group stage placings were confirmed in November and December 2024. The championship ran from 25 March to 31 May 2025. Offaly GAA, Offaly entered the championship as the 2024 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship, defending champions, however, they were beaten by Dublin GAA, Dublin in the #Leinster quarter-finals, Leinster quarter-finals. 2024 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship
The 2024 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship is the sixth staging of the All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship, All-Ireland Under-20 Championship and the 61st staging overall of a hurling championship for players between the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Championship, minor and All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, senior grades. The provincial group stage placings were confirmed in December 2023. The championship ran from 30 March to 01 June 2024. Cork GAA, Cork entered the championship as the 2023 All-Ireland Under-20 Hurling Championship, defending champions, however, they were beaten by Tipperary GAA, Tipperary in the #Munster final, Munster final. Gaelic football (; short name '')'', commonly known as simply Gaelic, GAA, or football, is an Irish team sport. A form of football, it is played between two teams of 15 players on a rectangular grass pitch. The objective of the sport is to score by kicking or palming the ball into the other team's Goal (sport), goal (3 points) or between two upright posts above the goal and over a crossbar above the ground (1 point). Players advance the ball up the field with a combination of carrying, bouncing, kicking, hand-passing, and soloing (dropping the ball and then toe-kicking the ball upward into the hands). Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship
The Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship was an annual inter-county hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) between 1961 and 2017. Teams consisted of senior, intermediate and junior club players who were not members of their county's senior panel. The competition was established to prevent the stronger counties from dominating the existing Munster Junior Hurling Championship. The final, frequently held in July, served as the culmination of a series of games played during the early summer months, often as curtain raisers to Munster SHC games, with the results determining which team received the Sweet Afton Cup. The Munster GAA Hurling Minor Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Electric Ireland Munster GAA Hurling Minor Championship) is an annual Inter county, inter-county hurling competition organised by the Munster GAA, Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). Munster Junior Hurling Championship
The Munster Junior Hurling Championship is a junior "knockout" competition in the game of Hurling played in the province of Munster in Ireland. The series of games are organised by the Munster Council. The winners of the Munster Junior Hurling Championship each year progress to play the other provincial champions for a chance to win the All-Ireland Junior Hurling Championship. Generally, the strong hurling counties have fielded their second team in this competition. In recent years though, they have participated in the Munster Intermediate Hurling Championship instead. The competition has been suspended and is unlikely to be re-established. In the years between 1961 and 1973 Kerry represented Munster in the All-Ireland Junior Hurling Championship.
