Markovci (; ) is a village in the Municipality of Šalovci in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia. The parish church west of the settlement is dedicated to the Visitation of the Virgin and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Murska Sobota. Felsőszölnök ( . ) is a village in Vas County, Hungary. It is the westernmost point of Hungary, and lies on the borders with Slovenia and Austria. It is closer to the capitals of four countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, and Slovakia) than it is to Budapest, its own country. The Municipality of Gornji Petrovci (; ) is a municipality in Slovenia. The seat of the municipality is the town of Gornji Petrovci. The municipality was established in its current form on 3 October 1994, when the former larger Municipality of Murska Sobota was subdivided into nine smaller municipalities. The municipality includes 14 villages, represented in the municipal coat of arms by fourteen simplified blue houses. The shield also includes a heraldic otter holding a golden fish. Orfalu
Orfalu ( ) is a village in the District of Szentgotthárd, Vas county, Hungary. History The village of Orfalu, along with the neighboring Újbalázsfalva (now part of Apátistvánfalva), is mentioned in documents dating back to the 16th century. In 1583, it appears in records under the name Orfalou. The area of the village was undoubtedly an uninhabited forest before the end of the 12th century. When Hungarian King Béla III settled Cistercian monks from France in the area that would become Szentgotthárd, the region began to develop. The Cistercians settled Slovenian farmers and established manors. These manors in Orfalu survived until the 20th century. Domanjševci (; in older sources also ''Domanjšovci'', ) is a village in the Municipality of Šalovci in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia, right on the border with Hungary. There are two churches in the settlement. The Roman Catholic church is built on a small hill southwest of the settlement in the middle of a small cemetery and is dedicated to Saint Martin. It is a single-nave brick building with a Romanesque portal dating to the 13th century. It was originally dedicated to Saint Wenceslas.
