The Municipality of Loška Dolina (; ) is a municipality in Slovenia. It is part of the Inner Carniola traditional region. Snežnik Castle and Cross Cave are located in the municipality. Its municipal seat is the town of Stari Trg pri Ložu. It borders Croatia. Vrh, Loška Dolina
Vrh (, ) is a small village south of Podgora in the Municipality of Loška Dolina in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. Mass grave Vrh is the site of a mass grave from the period immediately after the Second World War. The Nevinje Cave Mass Grave (), also known as the Troha Woods Cave Mass Grave (), lies in the northeast foothills of Mount Snežnik, east of the Grajševka hunting lodge. It was used after the war to liquidate opponents of the communist movement. Name Šmarata was attested in written records in 1275 as ''villa S. Margarite'' (and as ''circa sanctam Margareta'' in 1327, and ''Sand Margreten pey Sneperch'' in 1363). Nadlesk
Nadlesk (, in older sources ''Nadlesek'') is a village south of Stari Trg in the Municipality of Loška Dolina in the Inner Carniola region of Slovenia. The settlement includes the hamlets of Hrib, Sredi Vasi (), and Kot. History On the hill above Nadlesk there are the remains of a Roman fortification and the settlement below it. Almost the entire village burned down in 1932, after which new houses were built. During the Second World War, Allied aircraft landed near Nadlesk to supply Partisan forces with weapons and to evacuate the wounded.
