It is the fastest Tejas Rajdhani Express among all Rajdhani Express, Rajdhani express service of India, with an average speed of 90 km/h and maximum permissible speed of 140 km/h. It is widely regarded as one of the most premium trains on the Indian Railway network and is given the highest priority in terms of clearance. It was the second Rajdhani Express train in India to be introduced after the Howrah–New_Delhi_Rajdhani_Express_(via_Gaya), Howrah Rajdhani Express. The Rajdhani Express () is a series of passenger train services in India operated by Indian Railways connecting the national capital New Delhi with the capitals or the largest cities of various States and union territories of India, states.
