Jagdeep Singh Kaka Brar
Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jaffrey (19 March 1939 – 8 July 2020), better known by his stage name Jagdeep, was an Indian actor and comedian who appeared in more than 400 films. He played Soorma Bhopali in ''Sholay'' (1975), Machchar in ''Purana Mandir'' (1983), Salman Khan's dad in ''Andaz Apna Apna'' (1994) and directed the film ''Soorma Bhopali'', with his character as the protagonist. Jagdeep started his film career as a child artist extra in B. R. Chopra's '' Afsana'', then went on to do films as a child artist in films like ''Ab Dilli Door Nahin'', K. A. Abbas's '' Munna'', Guru Dutt's ''Aar Paar'', Bimal Roy's ''Do Bigha Zamin'' and AVM's ''Hum Panchhi Ek Daal Ke''. Politics in reorganised present-day Punjab is dominated by mainly three parties – Indian National Congress, Aam Aadmi Party and Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal). The Punjab Legislative Assembly is the unicameral state legislature of Punjab, India, Punjab state in North India. The seat of the Legislative Assembly is at Chandigarh, the capital of the state. It is housed within the Chandigarh Capitol Complex, a World Heritage Site designed by Le Corbusier. The term of the assembly is five years, unless it is dissolved early. Harcharan Singh Brar (21 January 1922 – 6 September 2009) was an Indian politician belonging to the Punjab unit of Indian National Congress. He was the 13th Chief Minister of Punjab and held this position from 31 August 1995 to 21 November 1996. He succeeded the assassinated Chief Minister Beant Singh.
