Herch Moysés Nussenzveig
Herch Moysés Nussenzveig (16 January 1933 – 5 November 2022) was a Brazilian physicist, professor at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences. He authored several textbooks, notably the collection ''Curso de Física Básica'' (''Course of Basic Physics''), winner of the Prêmio Jabuti in 1999 on the category ''Ciências Exatas, Tecnologia e Informática'' (Exact Sciences, Technology and Informatics). He was president of the Brazilian Physical Society from 1981 to 1983. Nussenzveig was born in São Paulo on 16 January 1933. He was a PhD student of Guido Beck. He was known, among other things, for explaining effects such as the glory, an optical phenomenon. In 1986, he was the recipient of the Max Born Award. Ivone Moysés (1945 – 22 October 2018) was a Brazilian chess player. She was a three time Brazilian Women's Chess Champion (1969, 1970, 1973) and Women's Chess Olympiad individual silver medalist (1974). Biography From the end of 1960s until the end of the 1970s, Ivone Moysés was one of the leading Brazilian chess players. She has participated in many Brazilian Women's Chess Championships where she won three gold (1969, 1970, 1973) and four silver (1967, 1968, 1976, 1977) medals. Moysés Paciornik
Moysés Goldstein Paciornik (4 October 1914 – 26 December 2008) was a Brazilian physician. He was born in the city of Curitiba in the Paraná state, located in Southern Brazil. He graduated in Medicine in 1938. In 1959 he founded the Paranaense Center for Medical Research, which he was director.Statement of Health Merit Award by the Paraná legislative 9-8-2006

Moysés Baumstein
Moysés Baumstein (June 13, 1931 – December 4, 1991) was a Brazilian artist. Baumstein worked in many fields: from literary creation to painting, from film making to holography. He was driven by singular curiosity and diligence and typified as a "Renaissance Man" joining science with art throughout his accomplishments. Baumstein was born and died in São Paulo. He began his artistic career as a painter influenced by the Spanish painter Joan Ponç, with whom he founded the group “L´Espai” in São Paulo in 1960. He later became interested in photography, cinema and theatre, at the beginning of the seventies began to write experimental fiction and produce and direct animation cinema in Super8 and 16mm. In 1981 founded Videcom, a video production house in São Paulo directed for corporate and cultural audiovisual productions. Moysés Blás (alternate spelling: Moses Blass) (born March 24, 1937) is a Brazilian former basketball player. Blass is Jewish, and was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil. He is 5' 11". ''Monochroa moyses'' is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Uffen in 1991. It is found in Portugal, Great Britain, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Adult males have wings 8.5 mm across and light brown forewings. The hindwings are mottled grey. Larvae have light brown heads and pale pinkish-white heads. The larvae feed on ''Bolboschoenus maritimus'' and possibly ''Scirpus sylvaticus''. They mine the leaves of their host plant. Taxonomy Monochroa moyses was described in 1991 by the English entomologist R. W. J. Uffen in 1991 based on a male specimen collected from East Mersea, Essex, as a larva in 1986. Štefan Moyses (also as ''Štefan Moyzes'', ; October 24, 1797 in Veszele (today Veselé) – July 5, 1869 in Garamszentkereszt (now Žiar nad Hronom)) was a Slovak prelate who served as the 6th Bishop of Besztercebánya (now Banská Bystrica), teacher, patriot, co-founder and first Chairman of Matica slovenská.
