Mount Panorama Circuit
Mount Panorama Circuit, officially Mount Panorama/Wahluu via dual naming, is a motor racing track located in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia. It is situated on Mount Panorama and is best known as the home of the Bathurst 1000 motor race held each October, and the Bathurst 12 Hour event held each February. The track is a long street circuit, which is used as a public road when no racing events are being run, with many residences which can only be accessed from the circuit. The track has an unusual design by modern standards, with a vertical difference between its highest and lowest points, and grades as steep as 1:6.13. Bathurst () is a city in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia. Bathurst is about 200 kilometres (120 mi) west-northwest of Sydney and is the seat of the Bathurst Region, Bathurst Regional Council. McLaren M10
The McLaren M10 was a Formula 5000 race car chassis built by McLaren that competed in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand between 1969 and 1973. Design The McLaren M10 was manufactured in large numbers. Built close to the weight limit, it was very light and was powered by a 500+ hp Chevrolet small-block engine (first and second generation), Chevrolet V8 engine. The cars were not manufactured by McLaren itself, but by the British racing car manufacturer Trojan. Trojan was able to complete and deliver 17 of the originally ordered quantity of 50 vehicles. The Dreaming, also referred to as Dreamtime, is a term devised by early anthropologists to refer to a religio-cultural worldview attributed to Australian Aboriginal mythology. 2023 World Athletics Cross Country Championships
The 2023 World Athletics Cross Country Championships took place on 18 February 2023 in Bathurst, Australia. It was the event's 44th edition and the second time after Auckland in 1988 that the championships were held in Oceania. In March 2020 the course was revealed, to be held in the infield of the Mount Panorama Circuit. In December 2020, the event was postponed from 2021 to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Australian travel restrictions. The championships were once again delayed to 2023 in September 2021, due to Australian travel restrictions. National Motor Racing Museum
The National Motor Racing Museum (NMRM) is located in the regional New South Wales city of Bathurst, New South Wales, Bathurst, approximately 200 km west of Sydney. The museum is situated adjacent to the Mount Panorama Circuit, Mount Panorama motor racing circuit at the end of Conrod Straight, close to the city. A street circuit is a motorsport race track, racing circuit composed of temporarily closed-off public roads of a city, town or village, used in motor racing, motor races. Airport Runway, runways and Taxiway, taxiways are also sometimes part of street circuits.
