''Mount Allen is a mountain (3,430 m) located 5.2 mi southeast of Mount Craddock in Owen Ridge, the southernmost portion of the main ridge of Sentinel Range, Ellsworth Mountains in Antarctica. The peak surmounts Saltzman Glacier to the north, Kornicker Glacier to the southeast, Bolgrad Glacier to the southwest and Brook Glacier to the west. It was mapped by the USGS from surveys and United States Navy, USN air photos in 1957–59. It was named by the US-ACAN for Lt. Forrest M. Allen, USNR, the co-pilot on reconnaissance flights from Byrd Station, 1957–58. Mount Allen was first successfully climbed on December 26, 2012, by Pachi Ibarra, Ralf Laier and Todd Passey. The Olympus Range () is a primarily ice-free mountain range of Victoria Land, Antarctica, with peaks over high, between Victoria Valley and McKelvey Valley on the north and Wright Valley on the south. It is south of the Clare Range and north of the Asgard Range. Exploration and naming The Olympus Range was mapped by the Victoria University of Wellington Antarctic Expedition, 1958–59, and named for the Mount Olympus, mythological home of the Greek gods. Peaks in the range are named for figures in Greek mythology. Location The Olympus Range extends from the Antarctic Plateau to the Wilson Piedmont Glacier on the west coast of the Ross Sea. The range is bounded by the Balham Valley, McKelvey Valley and Victoria Valley to the north, and the Wright Valley to the south. Mount Allen is a ghost town in the Orana region of New South Wales, Australia. There was once a village of the same name associated with gold mining. For statistical purposes, it is considered part of Mount Hope. Location The former gold mining village was located approximately 4 km west of Kidman Way, between Mount Hope and Gilgunnia on the route to Cobar. The closest remaining settlement is Mount Hope. The landform, Mount Allen, is some distance to the south of the former village. So the village may equally have taken its name from the Parish of Mount Allen or the Mount Allen gold mine. Mount Allen is a mountain in the Canadian Rockies, on the Continental Divide, which forms the provincial boundary between British Columbia and Alberta in this region. J. Monroe Thorington named this mountain for Samuel Evans Stokes Allen in 1924. Allen was an American cartographer who mapped this area of the Rockies in 1894–1895. The Criffel Range is a range of mountains in Central Otago, in the South Island of New Zealand. The range lies parallel and to the east of the Crown Range, from which it is separated by the valley of the Cardrona River, and by the route of the Crown Range Road, New Zealand's highest paved highway. To the west of the Criffel Range lies another parallel ridge, the Pisa Range. Between them, the Criffel and Pisa Ranges form a massif which is notable as being part of the alluvial gold field which was at the heart of the Otago Gold Rush of 1861–63. The Criffel Range forms part of the greater Pisa Range fault-block mountain which separates the Cardrona Valley from the Upper Clutha Valley. The remote peak is located north-northwest of Chisana, Alaska, in Wrangell–St. Elias National Park and Preserve. Precipitation runoff from the mountain drains into tributaries of the Chisana River which is a tributary of the Tanana River.
