MotorStorm
''MotorStorm'' is a racing video game series created by Evolution Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, Some instalments were co-developed by BigBig Studios and Virtuos. ''MotorStorm'' are off-road racing games featuring different types of vehicles with their own strengths and weaknesses and tracks with different terrains which may either hinder the vehicles' handling or improve it. The central premise of the series was a gathering of off-road racing enthusiasts for an event entitled the "MotorStorm Festival". Participants in the MotorStorm Festival are not limited to their vehicle choice for any event and cut-throat racing is encouraged. MotorStorm (video Game)
is a 2006 racing video game developed by Evolution Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. Gameplay is heavily focused on off-road racing at a fictional festival. It was announced at E3 2005, and released in Japan on 14 December 2006 and worldwide in March 2007. The game received a positive reception and sold well and led to a sequel as part of the '' MotorStorm'' series'', MotorStorm: Pacific Rift'' (2008). Gameplay The events of the game take place at the fictional MotorStorm Festival in Monument Valley. The objective of the game is to win a series of off-road races and to be the overall winner of the Festival. Evolution Studios Ltd. was a British video game developer based in Runcorn, Cheshire. The company was founded in 1999 by Martin Kenwright and Ian Hetherington, following the purchase of their studio Digital Image Design's publisher Ocean Software by Infogrames. An avalanche is a rapid flow of snow down a Grade (slope), slope, such as a hill or mountain.
