Matvey Aleksandrovich Melnikov (; born in Krymsk), better known by his stage name Mot (), is a Russian musician and pop-singer. From 1 March 2013 until 22 January 2022, he was an artist with the label Black Star (music label), Black Star. Biography Early period Matvey Melnikov was born in Krymsk. At the age of five, he and his family moved to Krasnodar. At 10 years old, he started to take up dancing at the Krasnodar branch «Тодес». In 2012, he defended his thesis and enrolled in graduate school. Music career Mot's debut album was released in January 2011, titled ''Remote''. The album consists of 12 tracks, including collaborations with musicians Ilya Kireev, Katrin Mokko & ms. Sounday. The album was recorded and mixed by Denis KOKA beats. Krymsk
Krymsk (; Adyghe: Хьэтуехьэблэ, Ḥătueḥăblă; ) is a town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. Population: 57,927 (2020), History It was founded in 1858 as the fortress and ''stanitsa'' of Krymskaya (), named after the Crimean Cossack Regiment. It was the first capital of the Greek Autonomous District, between 1930 and 1932. The ''stanitsa'' was granted town status and given its present name a century later, in 1958. The town's railway station, however, retains the name ''Krymskaya''. 2012 floods Krasnodar Krai experienced a flash flood on July 7, 2012, after heavy rains. About of rain fell over the region. State television reported that it was an equivalent of three-to-four months' worth of rainfall in a typical year. In the hilly area, water formed torrents that rushed into towns.
