Morley is a list of Perth suburbs, suburb of Perth, within the City of Bayswater local government area, situated approximately northeast of the Perth#Central business district, Perth central business district. It contains the Galleria Shopping Centre (Perth), Galleria Shopping Centre, one of Perth's larger shopping centres. Galleria bus station is located in the car park of the shopping centre. From the late 1950s, Morley (originally known as Morley Park) began to develop as a major shopping and commercial centre. The name Morley began appearing on maps around the beginning of the twentieth century and was adopted when the Morley Park Estate was subdivided for urban development after the World War I, First World War. The most likely explanation for its use is that it commemorates Charles William Morley, who is known to have farmed in the area during the 1860s and 1870s. Galleria Shopping Centre (Perth)
Galleria Shopping Centre (formerly known as Westfield Galleria, Centro Galleria and Galleria) is a shopping mall, shopping centre located in Morley, Western Australia, Morley, about northeast of the Perth central business district. It is the fifth largest shopping centre in Western Australia, with several major retailers and approximately 300 specialty retailers. Hampton Senior High School
Hampton Senior High School is an Independent public co-educational high day school, located in the Perth suburb of Morley, Western Australia. History In August 1965, the Department of Education announced that a school would open in Hampton in 1966 to reduce overcrowding at Governor Stirling, Cyril Jackson and John Forrest Senior High Schools. Hampton Senior High School opened in February 1966, but the school had not been completed yet. Two classrooms at Middle Swan Primary School and five at Midland Technical School were used by the school for the first term of 1966. Students were transported by bus to other facilities to do home economics and design and technology. In term two, the school's buildings were complete and so the school moved in. Bend, Oregon
Bend is a city in central Oregon and the county seat of Deschutes County, Oregon, Deschutes County, Oregon, United States. It is located to the east of the Cascade Range, on the Deschutes River. Margaret Feilman
Margaret Anne Feilman (21 June 1921 – 24 September 2013) was an Australian architect and Perth's first female town planner. She practiced as an architect and landscape designer. A founding member of the Western Australian Town Planning Institute in 1950, she engaged in substantial public speaking as a means of "educating the public as a whole on the need for better planning". Her most notable contribution to town planning was the design and implementation of the Kwinana new town. Boans was a department store chain that operated in Perth, Western Australia between from the late 19th century to the late 20th century. It was located between Wellington Street, Perth, Wellington Street and Murray Street, Perth, Murray Street and had the Padbury Buildings, Perth, Padbury Buildings between it and Forrest Place. The store was founded by Harry Boan and his brother Benjamin who both came to Perth in 1895 from Broken Hill in western New South Wales.
