More4
More4 is a British free-to-air television channel, owned by Channel Four Television Corporation. The channel launched on 10 October 2005. Its programming mainly focuses on lifestyle and documentaries, as well as foreign dramas. Content The idea of a sister channel aimed at an older demographic than the youth oriented E4 with the More4 branding was first planned by Channel 4 back in 2003, although it in fact had grown out of an earlier idea which had been known as G4. Channel 4 had previously been planning a free-to-air youth channel before deciding on the More4 concept, as E4 was still a subscription channel at the time. More4 eventually launched on 10 October 2005. ''More4 News'' was a daily news programme on the More4 digital television channel in the United Kingdom, that aired Monday to Friday from 8.00pm to 8.30pm from 2005 to 2009. Channel 4 is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation. 4seven (commonly stylised as 47) is a British free-to-air television channel which was launched on 4 July 2012 at 7.00 pm. According to Channel 4, it was created in response to its viewers demanding Channel 4 to broadcast old programming from the network. Its programming focuses on Channel 4's top rated programmes. 4seven launched with 20 hours of content in the schedule per day. In the 8.00 pm and 10.00 pm slots the channel broadcasts a repeat of shows from the previous day that have created a critical buzz in newspapers, chatter on social media through Twitter and Facebook and reaction on the overnight log of comments kept by the broadcaster.
