Monique Lagdameo
Monique Yazmin María "Nik" Quiríno Lagdaméo (born July 25, 1975) is a Filipino politician who is the representative-elect for Makati's first district. She previously held the seat from 2010 to 2016 and has served as the vice mayor of Makati since 2016, under the mayoralty of Abigail Binay. Early life Lagdaméo was born on July 25, 1975, to Militza Quiríno and Enrique Lagdaméo. She is a granddaughter of ABS-CBN co-founder Antonio Quiríno and a great-niece of President Elpídio Quiríno. She graduated Bachelor of Science in commerce (Legal Management) from De La Salle University in 1995. Political life Lagdaméo entered politics in 1992 as a member of the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) council of Barangay Forbes Park, Makati. Antonio Rivera Quirino Sr. (January 20, 1906 – January 3, 1992) was a Filipino judge, entrepreneur, and politician. He was the youngest brother of President Elpidio Quirino. He helped develop Alto Broadcasting System (ABS) before it was absorbed by Chronicle Broadcasting Network (CBN) to form ABS-CBN Corporation from the merged two media companies.
