Monika Linkytė (; born 3 June 1992) is a Lithuanian singer and songwriter. She Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015, represented Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 along with Vaidas Baumila with the song "This Time (Monika Linkytė & Vaidas Baumila song), This Time", placing 18th. She also represented Lithuania at the New Wave (competition), New Wave 2014 competition, receiving a prize from Alla Pugacheva and was a finalist in the second season of Lietuvos balsas, Lietuvos Balsas. She Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, represented Lithuania again in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song "Stay (Monika Linkytė song), Stay", placing 11th. Šilutė
Šilutė (; previously ''Šilokarčiama''; ) is a city in the south of the Klaipėda County in western Lithuania. The city was part of the Klaipėda Region and ethnographic Lithuania Minor. Šilutė was the interwar period, interwar capital of Šilutė County and is currently the capital of Šilutė District Municipality. Lithuania In The Eurovision Song Contest 2010
Lithuania was represented at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 with the song "Eastern European Funk", written and performed by the group InCulto. The Lithuanian broadcaster Lithuanian National Radio and Television (LRT) organised the national final ''"Eurovizijos" dainų konkurso nacionalinė atranka'' (Eurovision Song Contest national selection) in order to select the Lithuanian entry for the 2010 contest in Oslo, Norway. The national final took place over four weeks and involved 34 competing entries. The results of each show were determined by the combination of votes from a jury panel and a public vote. In the final, twelve artists and songs remained and "Eastern European Funk", performed by InCulto, was selected as the winner. The first documented school in Lithuania was established in 1387 at Vilnius Cathedral. The school network was influenced by the Christianization of Lithuania. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest, often known simply as Junior Eurovision, is an international children's Music competition, song competition organised annually by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) among its members since 2003.
