Mongo is a fictional planet where the comic strip (and later Flash Gordon (serial), movie serials) of ''Flash Gordon'' takes place. Jeff Parker (born October 25, 1966) is an American comic book writer and artist. He is a member of Helioscope Studio (formerly Periscope Studio, also known as Mercury Studio).
