The Monastery of St. Benedict is formed by the Church and the Monastery, located in the Historic Center of the Brazilian capital of João Pessoa, Paraíba, João Pessoa, in the state of Paraíba. The São Bento Monastery, located in the Historic Center of João Pessoa, Paraíba, João Pessoa, is a Baroque style building, built by the Benedictine monks, formed by the monastery and the church, considered one of the most important in Brazil. The construction of the monastery dates from the seventeenth century, and the church, from the eighteenth century, which was listed by the Institute of National Historical and Artistic Heritage (Iphan) on January 10, 1957. In 1995, the complex was restored and currently its interior, there are music concerts and sung masses. São Francisco Cultural Center
Cultural Center San Francisco is located in the Paraíba state capital of João Pessoa. The architectural complex of the Church of San Francisco and the Convent of St. Anthony, was built by Franciscans in 1589 and was completed in 1788.
