Wellington Moisés Ramírez Preciado (born 9 September 2000) is an Ecuadorian association football, footballer who plays as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper for C.S.D. Independiente del Valle, Independiente del Valle. Club career Born in Guayaquil, Ramírez joined C.S.D. Independiente del Valle's youth setup in 2016, from Toreros. He made his first team debut at the age of just 17 on 10 July 2018, starting in a 1–3 away loss against S.D. Aucas. On 30 January 2019, Ramírez moved abroad and joined Real Sociedad on loan until June; he was initially assigned to Real Sociedad B, the reserves in Segunda División B. His loan was extended until 31 December on 28 June, with a buyout clause, which was declined on 10 December. The 2019–20 Segunda División B season was the 43rd since its establishment. Eighty teams participated, distributed in four groups of twenty clubs each. On 11 March 2020, the season of Segunda División B was suspended due to the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. On 6 May 2020, the Royal Spanish Football Federation announced the premature end of the league, revoking all relegations and planning an eventual promotion playoff to be played if possible. Also, the expansion of the league to five groups of 20 teams each for the 2020–21 season (due to promotion from the curtailed Tercera División groups being applied) was approved.
