Mohammed Al-Ghassani
Mohammed Saleh Abdullah Al-Ghassani (; born 1 April 1985), commonly known as Mohammed Al-Ghassani, is an Omani Association football, footballer who plays for the Oman Professional League club, Sur SC, Sur. Club career On 31 August 2014, he signed a one-year contract with Al-Shabab Club (Oman), Al-Shabab Club. Later on, he returned to two of his formers clubs, Al-Musannah SC, Al-Musannah and Saham SC, Saham. International career Mohammed was selected for the national team for the first time in 2007. He has made appearances in the 2007 AFC Asian Cup qualification, 2011 AFC Asian Cup qualification and the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification (AFC), 2010 FIFA World Cup qualification and has represented the national team in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification (AFC), 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification. Suwayq
Al Suwaiq () is a coastal wilayah (Provinces of Oman, province) in Al Batinah North Governorate, in northeastern Oman. 2011 AFC Asian Cup Qualification
The 2011 AFC Asian Cup qualification saw various countries take part to determine 10 spots to the final tournament in Qatar under the new qualification system set by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Al-Seeb, As Seeb, As Sib, or Seeb () is a coastal fishing Provinces of Oman, province, located several kilometres northwest of Muscat, in northeastern Oman. The 2013–14 Oman Professional League (known as the ''Omantel Professional League'' for sponsorship reasons) is the 38th edition of the top football league in Oman. The Oman Football League got the seal of approval of a professional league on 1 September 2013 and will henceforth be called the Omantel Professional League (OPL). The season began on 13 September 2013, and concluded on 16 May 2014. Al-Suwaiq Club were the defending champions, having won their third title in the previous 2012–13 Elite League season. The 2012–13 Oman Elite League (known as the '' Omantel Elite League'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 37th edition of the top football league in Oman. It began on 4 October 2012 and was scheduled to finish on 19 May 2013, but for the second season running, the league title had to be decided by a playoff. Fanja SC were the defending champions, having won the previous 2011–12 Elite League season. Al-Suwaiq Club won the Championship Final match against Fanja 3–1 and emerged as the champions of the 2012–13 Oman Elite League. Teams This season the league had increased from 12 to 14 teams. As a result, despite losing the relegation play-off to Al-Seeb Club, Salalah SC retained their place in the top division and Al-Musannah SC, whose 11th-place finish would have seen them relegated also retained their place in the top division. The Oman Professional League (; known as the ''Omantel Professional League'' for sponsorship reasons), previously known as the Omantel Elite League, is the top division of the Oman Football Association, and was officially created in 1976. Currently, the most successful team in the league is Dhofar S.C.S.C., Dhofar with 12 titles to their name. AFC Cup
The AFC Champions League Two (abbreviated as the ACL Two or ACL2) is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation. It is the second-tier competition of Asian club football, ranked below the AFC Champions League Elite and above the AFC Challenge League. The competition was founded in 2004 as the AFC Cup, it was played primarily among clubs from nations that did not receive direct qualifying slots to the top-tier AFC Champions League. The competition rebranded to its current name in 2024. In a bid to increase competitivenes, its format was also changed to include clubs from higher ranked AFC member associations.
