Mojo was an Australian advertising agency formed in Sydney by Alan Morris (advertiser), Alan Morris ("Mo") and Allan Johnston (advertiser), Allan Johnston ("Jo") in 1979. Its lineage can today be traced to the Australian offices of Publicis, an Australian subsidiary of the France, French multinational corporation, multinational advertising and communications company holding Publicis Groupe. Those offices traded as Publicis Mojo from the late 1990s until 2016. Founding and style Johnston, initially from Adelaide and Morris from Sydney teamed up in the mid 70s at Sydney agency Hertz Walpole. Johnston had been employed there since 1968 and Morris was freelancing. The Mojos
The Mojos were a British beat group from the 1960s, best known for their hit UK single, " Everything's Alright", with two other singles charting low in the UK Singles Chart in 1964. Biography The band formed under the name the Nomads as a duo in 1962 and originally consisted of bassist Keith Karlson (born Keith Alcock) and Jon "Bob" Conrad. After that the band was joined in September 1962 by lead singer, pianist Stu James (born Stuart Slater), rhythm guitarist, vocalist Adrian Lord (born Adrian Wilkinson). The band continued without a lead guitarist when Wood left. At the suggestion of Beatle George Harrison, pianist Terry O'Toole was added to the lineup in August 1963; Harrison having heard him play at the Blue Angel jazz club. The Mojo Club is a music club and live venue in Hamburg, Germany located on the city’s famous Reeperbahn. Founded in 1989, it is considered to be a pioneer in the field of modern breakbeat-oriented sounds such as acid jazz and had a major impact on ''dancefloor jazz.''
