Mișcarea Politică Unirea (MPU; ) is a Right-wing politics, right-wing political party of the Republic of Moldova. It was founded on 15 January 2020, after the initiative of five parties to join forces to fight for the unification of Moldova and Romania. The party participated in the 2020 Moldovan presidential election with its candidate, Dorin Chirtoacă, finishing last after receiving 1.2% of the votes. Liberal Party (Moldova)
Liberal Party (, PL) is a conservative-liberal political party in Moldova. The president of the party is the former Mayor of Chișinău, Dorin Chirtoacă. History The party was established under the name Party of Reform () in 1993 by Anatol Șalaru. In 1997, Mihai Ghimpu was elected chairman. Until April 2005, the party had a Christian-democratic electoral platform. Competing in the 1994, 1998, and 2001 parliamentary elections, the Party of Reform failed to enter parliament, as its results of 2.36%, 0.54% and 0.67%, respectively, failed to meet the electoral threshold of 5%. Alley Of Classics, Chișinău
The Alley of Classics () is a sculptural complex located in the Stephen the Great Park in Central Chișinău, Moldova. Overview The alley is decorated on both sides with red granite busts of classic literary figures and political leaders from Moldova. The alley is located between the Ștefan cel Mare boulevard and the bronze bust of Alexander Pushkin, set on a granite column and made by Russian sculptor Alexander Opekushin. The alley was built and received its name in 1958, and became one of the most important tourist attractions in Chișinău. At first there were only twelve sculptures, but after the fall of the Soviet Union the local authorities added busts of Romanian and Moldovan writers and poets that were banned during the Soviet regime. Save Bessarabia Union (, USB), previously known as European Action Movement is a political party from Moldova. The party supportes the unification of Moldova and Romania. On 21 July 2019, the party changed its name from European Action Movement to Save Bessarabia Union and elected Valeriu Munteanu as its new president.
