Mist Edvardsdóttir
Mist Edvardsdóttir (born 17 October 1990) is an Icelandic footballer who plays as a defender for Valur in the Icelandic top-tier Úrvalsdeild kvenna. She was a member of the Icelandic national team, appearing in 13 matches from 2010 to 2015. Over her career she has battled and recovered from Hodgkin's lymphoma and three separate anterior cruciate ligament tears. Club career Mist started her career with Afturelding in the 1. deild kvenna at the age of 16 and later played two seasons for KR before signing with Valur in 2011. She played for Avaldsnes IL in 2013 and in October the same year, she signed with Brazilian club Vitória. After her stint with Vitória, Mist returned to Valur in 2014. In June 2014, she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. Despite undergoing chemotherapy, Mist appeared in 15 of Valur's 18 matches during the season, missing one game due to being suspended after receiving a red card and the last two games after becoming too ill to play. Icelandic Women's Super Cup
The Icelandic Women's Super Cup (Icelandic: ''Meistarakeppni kvenna''), also known as the Meistarakeppni KSÍ kvenna, is an annual women's football match between the reigning champions of the Besta deild kvenna league and the Icelandic Cup holders, or if the same team holds both titles between the title-holder and the team placed second in the league, or occasionally the second-placed team in the Icelandic Cup. The match generally takes place at the start of the Iceland domestic season in May. The competition was uninterrupted from its founding in 1992 to 1998, and from 2003 (when the holders of the 2002 titles competed) until 2020. Title-holders from 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2021 did not play for this cup. The most successful team is Breiðablik with a total of ten wins. SK Slavia Praha Ženy is a Czech women's football team from Prague representing SK Slavia Prague. It competes in the Czech First Division. History Slavia was a pioneer in women's football in Czechoslovakia, and won the first three editions of the Czech SR Championship between 1970 and 1972. It subsequently won six more trophies until 1989, when a final between the Czech and Slovak champions was organized. Slavia were the Czechoslovak champions in 1992 and 1993. However, rivals Sparta Prague gained the upper hand in the new Czech League following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia.
