Misguided
''Misguided'' is Argyle Park's only album under that name. The album was released in 1995 by R.E.X. Records into the Christian rock market, and sits alongside other early 90s work by Circle of Dust and Mortal (band), Mortal as being instrumental in introducing industrial music to the Christian music scene. The album was nominated for Best Metal/Hard Rock Album at the 27th Annual GMA Dove Awards in 1996. Argyle Park
Argyle Park was an underground industrial rock supergroup founded in New York City in 1994 and active until 1996. Members of the group reformed under the name AP2 in 1998, and were active under that name until winter 2000. Signed to Christian music labels, the band suffered repeated controversies within the Christian music scene for not being positive and evangelistic enough in its lyrics and outlook as well as for including contributions from non-Christian musicians. The project was named after an actual park in Babylon (village), New York#The Argyle Hotel & Park, Babylon, Long Island, where the members of Argyle Park grew up together. ''Suspension of Disbelief'' is the lone release by American Supergroup (music), supergroup Argyle Park#AP2, AP2, put out by Tooth & Nail Records in 2000. AP2 was a "sequel" to the band Argyle Park, who released their only album ''Misguided'' in 1994. Argyle Park consisted of Buka and Klayton, while AP2 featured primary players Buka and LVL (musician), Level, with Klayton producing the record. In the winter of 2000, Tooth & Nail cut AP2 due to the low sales of this album. Since Buka had only wanted AP2 to release albums for Tooth & Nail, AP2 ended as a band after Tooth & Nail dropped the ''Suspension of Disbelief'' is every bit as experimental as its precursor, including elements of Gabber, gabber techno, dance-pop, drum and bass, ambient techno, R&B, punk rock, and heavy metal music, metal. Disengage (album)
''Disengage'' is the fourth studio album by American industrial rock band Circle of Dust, released in 1998, two years after the band was put on hiatus. This is their final piece of material before resurfacing in 2016 as a solo project. History Klayton began to work on the album soon after a brief departure from Angeldust, a music/magic project he and Criss Angel collaborated on together. After Circle of Dust's contract with R.E.X. expired, Klayton took the project to Flying Tart Records. Seven remixes for "Chasm" and "Refractor" were produced. Klayton intended to release the remixes on a single separate CD entitled ''Circle of Dust – Refractor/Chasm Remixes''; however, this attempt was shot down by the label and were instead inserted into the album. Thomas Michael Victor (born 1961/1962) is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer. He is best known as the lead singer and guitarist for heavy metal band Prong, which he founded in New York City in 1986, as well as the guitarist for heavy metal band Danzig intermittently since 1996 and full-time since 2008. ''Brainchild'' is the second studio album by the industrial metal band Circle of Dust, released in 1994 through R.E.X. Music and re-released as a remaster in 2016 through FiXT Music. Overview Brainchild was originally a side project between Klayton and Doug Mann. Their album, ''Mindwarp'', was released on R.E.X. Music in 1992. R.E.X. wanted Klayton to make a second Circle of Dust album, but there wasn't enough money to make another album, so R.E.X. re-released the album as the second Circle of Dust album, ''Brainchild''. The same cover artwork and layout was used for both albums, with only the Album Artist ("Brainchild" to "Circle of Dust") and Album Title (''Mindwarp'' to ''Brainchild'') changed. In sound and music, sampling is the reuse of a portion (or sample) of a sound recording in another recording. Samples may comprise elements such as rhythm, melody, speech, or sound effects. A sample might comprise only a fragment of sound, or a longer portion of music, such as a drum beat or melody. Portishead (band)
Portishead ( ) is an English Electronic music, electronic band formed in 1991 in Bristol.
