Mirza Varešanović
Mirza Varešanović (born 31 May 1972) is a Bosnian professional football manager and former player. During his playing career, which spanned nearly 15 years, he competed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Greece, Turkey and Austria, playing in France for Bordeaux and in Greece for Olympiacos among others. He was the first Bosnian to play in France. Varešanović also played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In 2010, he started working as a manager. During his managerial career, Varešanović managed hometown club Sarajevo on two occasions, Velež Mostar, Olimpik, the Bosnia and Herzegovina U18 national team and Tuzla City. Bosnia And Herzegovina Football Cup
The Bosnia and Herzegovina Football Cup ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, separator=" / ", Kup Bosne i Hercegovine, Куп Босне и Херцеговине) is a knock-out football competition contested annually by clubs from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The winner qualifies for the UEFA Conference League second qualifying round and a place in the Bosnian Supercup. Until the 1999–2000 season, three separate cups were organized. In 1998, for the first time, Bosnia and Herzegovina got its official cup winner after the "Super final" between Sarajevo and Orašje (winners of two different cups). Herzegovina
Herzegovina ( or ; sh-Latn-Cyrl, Hercegovina, separator=" / ", Херцеговина, ) is the southern and smaller of two main geographical Regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, regions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the other being Bosnia (region), Bosnia. The 2010–11 Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina was the eleventh season since its original establishment and the ninth as a unified country-wide league. It began in August 2010 and ended in May 2011. Željezničar were the defending champions, having won their fourth championship title in the 2009–10 season. The league was won by Borac Banja Luka; Budućnost Banovići and Drina Zvornik were relegated to the second-level leagues. Qualifying for the UEFA Euro 2000 final tournament, took place throughout 1998 and 1999. Forty-nine teams were divided into nine groups. All teams played against each other, within their groups, on a home-and-away basis. The winner of each group and the best runner-up qualified automatically for the final tournament.
