Mirza Kurtović (born 8 February 1977) is a former Macedonian professional basketball point guard who played for MZT Skopje Aerodrom, Rabotnički, Kumanovo in Macedonia. Point Guard
The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Generally, point guards are expected to be proficient in passing the ball and being able to get Assist (basketball), assists to teammates. The North Macedonia men's national basketball team () represents North Macedonia in international basketball and is controlled by the Basketball Federation of North Macedonia. Iraklis B.C. is a Greek professional basketball club based in the city of Thessaloniki, Macedonia, Greece. MZT Skopje Aerodrom
MZT Skopje Aerodrom () is a basketball club based in Skopje, North Macedonia. The club competes in the Macedonian League and ABA League. The club's home ground is Jane Sandanski Arena, but due to small capacity, the matches in the ABA League and EuroCup between 2012 and 2014 were played in Boris Trajkovski Arena. Since the 2014–15 season, all matches are held in the renovated Jane Sandanski Arena. In its history, MZT Skopje has won the Macedonian championship eleven times, the Macedonian Cup thirteen times, and the Macedonian Super Cup seven times.
